El Vaquero Loco

In case you didn't know, El Vaqueor Loco translates to the crazy cowboy - if you've done this race, you know the name is fitting. Probably fell right out of the sky and landed on this Wyoming mountain race - or at least on Ty Draney, the founder and original el vaquero loco. The route features high-mountain lakes, steep, long climbs, amazing views of the Salt River and Wyoming mountain ranges - which, we're sure, makes it worth the effort!
